What's the point?
The goal of this initial content validation step is to empower brands to effortlessly track the status of their KOLs' content within their campaigns.
How does it work?
Setup the feature
The Content Validation feature seamlessly integrates into your campaign flow by default. Similar to Casting Validation, it includes two essential statuses: "Content Instructions" and "Content Approval".
For existing active campaigns, you'll need to create a new workflow to incorporate this feature.
However, for all new campaigns, Content Validation will be automatically activated, ensuring smooth and efficient content management from the start.
Content Instructions status
The first step in Content Validation is to outline the specific contents you expect from your KOLs and include the instructions for content creation.
When your KOLs reach the "Content Instructions" step, you'll access a new table to define their media plan and instructions. You'll be redirected to a "Contents" tab, showcasing the media plan for each KOL.
If not yet completed, click the edit icon to set up the required content. The revamped media plan clearly specifies the number and publication dates for each content type.
After defining your KOLs' media plans, you can document the instructions provided to each KOL.
A popup window opens, allowing you to retrieve a link to send to the KOL you're collaborating with on this campaign. You can either retrieve the link and send it in any way, or send it directly via our messaging tool - Send access via Kolsquare messenger - a message is pre-established, all you have to do is send it.
Once you've validated the instructions and media plan for each KOL in your campaign, the KOL will automatically be moved to the “Content approval” stage in your workflow.
Content approval” status
Here, you can easily monitor the status and progress of required content. You can also easily exchange information with the KOL and approve proposed content.
Click on “View Details” to manage the content you've received from each KOL in one place.

On the KOL side: once the KOL opens the link you've sent him/her, he/she accesses an interface to import his/her content. This interface and your Kolsquare are linked. This means you can instantly receive the KOL's content on the platform and review it. On his interface, the KOL can import his content and copy the associated caption:
The KOL is also alerted whether or not you have validated the content, and can therefore, if necessary, either make a new proposal or mark the content as Published. |
You receive the content imported by the KOL directly on the platform, allowing you to view the caption and content.
You can then decide whether to validate the content or request an iteration.
The KOL is then alerted by email and can either propose a new version, still on its interface, or mark the content as Published once it has been posted.
You can also download the content so you don't have to ask the KOL for it again afterwards.
Once all planned content has been analyzed and approved, the KOL will be able to mark all content as Published on his interface.
At this point, on Kolsquare, the KOL will move through the workflow to the Automatically Published stage.
This makes it as easy as possible to keep track of who has published all their content and who hasn't yet.
You can also import content from KOLs yourself, if they have sent you content outside the interface. This is a great way of centralizing your actions and follow-up, especially if you're working as part of a team with Kolsquare. You can effortlessly import multiple files (photos and videos) for each type of content.

Note: You and the KOL are always informed of proposed content and whether or not it has been approved via email. Very useful for keeping on top of the validation process. |
